Jan Eliasberg's book is a gripping, moving, and inspired. A gripping story about the German physicist who in Berlin 1938 is on the verge of splitting the atom. Based on the true life of physicist Lise Meitner, but a fictionalized story.

Was she a spy? She finds her work often ignored, discredited and even stolen by her male, Aryan colleagues. She eventually escapes and finds herself working at Los Alamos, in New Mexico, where she meets Major Jack Delaney. Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2020.
