Cybersecurity and a Remote Workforce: What Does the Future Look Like?
I've been interested in security for the past couple of years and have done a few courses on edX and Udemy related cybersecurity and ethical hacking in general. It's partly informed by my experience with C|EH and partly informed by their laughable marketing and goofy, error-prone website (which I have not looked at in years). They are entirely different, both in skill set, knowledge areas and effort. OSCP is a foundational penetration testing certification, intended for those seeking a step up in their skills and career. I think everyone in security could benefit from the CCENT, and anyone looking to work in networking can move on from there. Students are not allowed to do any Man-in-the-Middle attacks or Denial of Service (DoS)-type attacks against any targets. Some students feel that certain lab (and test) machines are very “trollish” or unrealistic examples of what one would find on a real penetration test.
