We didn’t complete the entire trail it was raining so we did 5 miles round trip! Upper Plunge and Lower Plunge are two steeper trails connected by a few seconds of climbing on Red Mountain Rd.
The down, up to the wilderness boundry, down program on the Hunter Creek Trails is world class. Rd. Awesome ride. I can’t wait to come down it on a bike! NOT OKAY! It started out with a good grunt up Red mtn, followed by some sweet singletrack down into Hunter Creek, From there it was a long (1+ hr) gradual climb through beautiful aspens.
