Pride and Prejudice meets Jane Eyre or Wuthering Heights. This was such a great, easy and creative book. Much of the information that was rushed through the beginning was repeated a time or two in a sentence. If I’m honest there was an element of this to a degree but thankfully the author kept it fresh with other contributing factors to the story line & the fact that characters from the next book have already been introduced whets the appetite so to speak. This novel is about one of a group of triplets. It is clean, but just didn’t click with me. It is quite interesting how it all takes place! Unexpectedly inheriting is a common enough plot point, but I felt it was done in a refreshingly personal way. Through the Fire Michelle Irwin I would consider this a YA book and I usually don’t read them because of the ‘teenage drama’.
Margaux is given permission by her parents The Marquess and The Marchioness of Ashbury to go to their estate in Scotland to assist the abandoned women. Start by marking “Through the Fire” as Want to Read: Error rating book. If she hadn't been so adamant against it in the beginning it probably wouldn't have been as big of a deal, but her change in attitude (especially when it wasn't even due to romance) felt too unrealistic. Although it’s a little bit unbelievable that it takes so long to locate the villains in the story, it does not greatly detract from this fun tale. I don't know if it's due to the abrupt changes in their minds towards their futures or the element of constant activity, but I didn't feel as invested in the characters as I normally would be. His weeks off are supposed to be a time to reflect but instead he escapes to Mexico, where another rash act of bravery actually kills him. If he has he is my hero, ❀Diane U and Melanie❀ Through the Fire by Shawn Grady. I enjoyed how both characters didn't fit in their societal molds and that their love bloomed from true friendship and respect. Welcome back. Welcome back. There is a definite faith element (which I like), understated, very well done and realistic in how Aiden fights it. Much of the narrative dealt with minutiae and I didn't connect with the characters (which is my favorite part of reading). Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. I ended up skipping some words because it forced me to draw upon my own emotions in dealing with the loss of a loved one. This novel is about one of a group of triplets. The setting of the stage was too blunt and often referred to minor characters as if the reader should know them and their history. Y'all Donna Hill is a fantastic Romance Author Let me tell you when I say this book was so good It had me In tears Ok let me tell you the T with out giving you any spoilers so the story Is about a men learning how to let go of the pass and learn to forgive the ones Who Hurt him It also talks about a woman learning to forgive herself and letting go of the things that happen In her life as well.this was one of my favorite Romance book I read so far this Year and I highly recommend It, Rae Lindsay has been through the fire and then some with the loss and grief of her husband and daughter. The entry of Vera, the love Maxine had for Taylor, the joy that Jamel and the patience and love of Rae all played a part in Q's rebirth.

In Through the Fire, book one of the A Series of Elements series, author Elizabeth Johns has written an excellent, fun, and a little bit suspenseful historical Regency romance novel. The only thing I love as much as a girl falling in love with a ship's captain/pirate or being a mail order bride and falling in love with a cowboy, is when she falls in love with a Scotsman. The beginning, however, was so rushed. In fact, he was often on with the same crew and yet he was the only fireman suspected. Margaux and Lord Craig, knowing each other from before remeet, but Margaux has an enemy in Scotland, and Lord Craig takes it upon himself to protect Margaux. That is true... when the potassium is reacting with water. Well done! Never anything more. So all in all, it was pretty meh for me. But once you get past that the story lines are not similar at all. In Through the Fire, book one of the A Series of Elements series, author Elizabeth Johns has written an excellent, fun, and a little bit suspenseful historical Regency romance novel. Gavin and Margaux are characters that you instantly fall in love with and root for from the very beginning. That needn't be a detriment but in this case it did leave this reader feeling a little late to the party. by Bethany House. Never had a title been more appropriate. The story was told entirely from the male (Aiden) point of view and the action was non-stop. The son of a fireman, O'Neill has a sixth sense about fire and often takes dangerous risks. The beginning sets up Aidan (A-O to his friends) as a somewhat reckless firefighter who has a weird relationship with fire, and a family history of tragedy. The story itself had enough action to hold my attention, but I felt like I didn't know the characters at all.
Need another excuse to treat yourself to a new book this week? But once I was there I didn’t want to come out. But only for a few minutes. But only for a few minutes. Elizabeth Johns has a way of fleshing out her characters, making them come alive and become beautifully relatable. These are wonderful escapist books. Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. The second third introduces the mystery element: these fires aren't right. [Aidan mentions that he saw a white flame in the fire which leads them to the idea that it was a metal. You could probably get through the first third of this without knowing it's meant to be Christian fiction, except for the clean language. First, I did enjoy reading this story, especially several chapters in where it really starts to pick up. Firefighting burns in Aidan O'Neill's blood. I have mixed feelings about this book. Let us know what’s wrong with this preview of. Her journey of getting over childhood trauma will touch your heart on many levels. How did he go from a coma in Mexico to fighting fires again in Reno so quickly. Who was Evie? The characters were easy to relate to and well developed. Although it’s a little bit unbelievable that it takes so long to locate the villains in the story, it does not greatly detract from this fun tale. Sometimes with regencies it's hard to relate to that time period but I did not feel that way with Through the Fire. We've got you covered with the buzziest new releases of the day. I didn't want to put down this well put together novel. I read this book twice and first time I was just going through the motions, the second time I sat up and paid attention. It really picked up and had my full attention by the time the fire happens. We’d love your help. There was a lot of firefighter jargon, which I followed OK because I took Firefighter I training, but the casual reader might find it a tad overwhelming or hard to follow.
