After spending the morning at the Social Security office across the street, the Passport office at this post office was a breath of fresh air! AND the mail staff were kind, friendly, helpful, and efficient. Was not a great look. You pay the state department by check, cash, or debit card, but you can pay the post office itself also using a credit card. Once my name was called, I was out the door in 5 minutes.Overall, this place does the job. My only complains were: 1) lack of mailing supplies available for self-service before getting in line, and 2) there was a very loud incessant beeping that was driving everyone crazy, but was never addressed by anyone working. No delivery. I have time stamped delivery messages saying what time an item was "delivered" when the carrier has never stepped foot on the property (as is evidenced by security camera footage)When they do deliver packages to our building they dump them in a pile outside without sorting them. For three days in a row my packages was attempted delivery and never delivered. This Post Office also processes passport applications, even the passport photo. Needed enhancements aside, this is a decent Post Office. I followed the instructions on the notice and scheduled a redelivery for Monday. *This facility does not process US Passports applications or renewals.
No need for an appointment, just walk in and sign in. There is a small table to the side (not the main table) where you sign in and can pick up blank forms to fill out.
